PEPPER STEAK 
1 piece round steak (tenderized)
2 tomatoes, chopped coarse
2 bell peppers, chopped coarse
1/3 tsp. garlic
1/3 tsp. salt
1/3 tsp. sugar
1/4 tsp. ground ginger
2 tbsp. cornstarch
1 can beef consomme
4 tbsp. soy sauce

Cut steak in narrow strips (coarse grain of meat). Brown steak quickly on both sides. Add ginger, garlic salt, sugar and soy sauce. Add chopped tomatoes, bell peppers and cook covered for 20 minutes. Mix consomme to cornstarch and add to meat mixture. Cook 20 minutes, covered; stir with wooden spoon. Serve over hot cooked rice.
