APPLE TUNNEL CAKE 
3 c. flour
2 1/2 c. sugar
1 c. oil
4 eggs
1/2 tsp. salt
1/3 c. orange juice
2 1/2 tsp. vanilla
3 tsp. baking powder

Sift dry ingredients together. Beat oil, eggs, juice and vanilla together. Stir all ingredients until well blended.

APPLE FILLING:

6 apples
3 tbsp. sugar
2 tsp. cinnamon

Core, peel and chop apples; add sugar and cinnamon. Let mixture sit 15 minutes. Layer half the cake batter in a greased and floured tube pan. Spread apple mix in pan and top with remaining cake batter. Bake at 350 degrees in preheated oven for 1 1/2 to 2 hours or until done.
