LONE LIGHT CHIFFON YELLOW LAYER
CAKE
 
2 eggs separated
1 1/2 c. sugar
2 1/4 c. cake flour
3 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
1/3 c. Wesson Oil
1 c. milk
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla

Heat oven to 350. Oil and flour 2 round layer pans. Beat egg whites until frothy. Gradually beat in 1/2 c. of the sugar. Beat until glossy and stiff. Flour, salt and baking powder. Add Wesson Oil, vanilla and half of milk. Beat for a minute, add remaining milk and egg yolks. Beat 1 more minute. Fold in meringue. Pour in pans. Bake 30-35 minutes, cool and frost.
