INSIDE-OUT RAVIOLI | |
1 lb. ground beef 1/2 c. chopped onion 1 clove garlic, minced 1 (10 oz.) frozen chopped spinach 1 lb. can spaghetti sauce with mushrooms 1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce 1 (6 oz.) can tomato paste 1/2 tsp. salt or substitute 1 bouillon cube for more flavor Dash of pepper 8-10 oz. macaroni, cooked and drained 1 c. shredded sharp cheese 1/2 c. soft bread crumbs 2 well beaten eggs 1/4 c. oil Brown first 3 ingredients. Cook spinach. Drain, reserving liquid; add water to make 1 cup. Add spinach liquid and next 5 ingredients to meat mixture. Simmer 10 minutes. Combine spinach with macaroni and remaining ingredients. Spread in 9 x 3 pan. Top with meat sauce. Bake 45 minutes. Let stand 10 minutes before serving. |
