1 lb. ground beef
1/2 c. chopped onion
1 clove garlic, minced
1 tbsp. oil
1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen spinach
1 lb. can spaghetti sauce
1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
1 (6 oz.) can tomato paste
1/2 tsp. salt, dash pepper
1 (7 oz.) pkg. (2 c.) macaroni or spaghetti
1/2 c. soft bread crumbs
2 well beaten eggs
1/4 c. oil

Brown first 3 ingredients in the 1 tablespoon of oil. Cook spinach according to package directions. Drain, reserving liquid and add water to make 1 cup. Stir spinach liquid and next 5 ingredients into meat mixture. Simmer 10 minutes. Combine spinach with remaining ingredients spread in 13 x 9 x 2 inch baking dish. Top with meat sauce. Bake at 350 degree oven for 30 minutes. Let stand 10 minutes before serving. Makes 8 to 10 servings.
