SPINACH MARIA | |
1 (15 1/2 oz.) can spinach, drained 1 medium onion, finely chopped (optional) 1 tbsp. butter 1 (8 oz.) cream cheese 3/4 to 1 c. Parmesan cheese 1/2 tsp. cayenne pepper (use more or less, depending on how you like it) You can use frozen spinach. Be sure there is no water in spinach. Sauté onion butter until tender. Add cream cheese and stir until melted. Add spinach, Parmesan cheese and cayenne pepper. Cook several minutes until well blended. Place in greased casserole dish and bake at 350°F for about 30 minutes. Serves approximately 4. |
