MARK'S PIE CRUST | |
1 lb. lard, softened until pliable 1 tbsp. salt 5 1/4 c. flour 1 c. water Put softened lard into mixing bowl. Add salt and flour. Mix with hands until soft like putty. Add water; mix well. Section off dough for 4 double crusts. Freeze in separate plastic bags for future. Thaw as needed and roll out for crusts. Bake as directed for pie. It's good, easy and handy! Makes 4 double crusts. |
