PEPPER STEAK 
2 lb. round steak or veal cutlets, tenderized
2 med. tomatoes
1/4 tsp. garlic salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1 tbsp. cornstarch
2 med. green peppers
3 tbsp. soy sauce
1/8 tsp. ginger
1/4 c. oil
1/4 tsp. sugar
1 can Campbell's consomme (beef)

Cut steak into strips, brown quickly in oil. Add consomme and soy sauce and cook 30 minutes. Mix and add dry ingredients. Add green peppers and cook for 10 minutes more. Add tomatoes and cook 10 more minutes, or until tender. Serve over hot rice.
