MEAT MARINATE | |
2 lbs. meat 1/2 c. catsup 1/3 c. oil 1/4 c. brown sugar 1/4 c. vinegar 1 1/2 tsp. chili powder 1 1/2 tsp. salt 1 tsp. onion powder Put cut up meat in heavy duty plastic zip-lock bag. Combine all above ingredients and pour over meat. Close bag and coat meat with marinate. Refrigerate several hours or overnight, turning meat in marinade once or twice. Place foil pan in charcoal grill such as a "Weber" and surround with charcoal. When charcoal is ready, drain marinade from meat and pour into foil pan. Place meat above pan on rack and cook, covered for approximately 1 hour. The marinade can be used for chicken, beef or pork. |
