MICROWAVE COTTAGE CHEESE DILL
BREAD
 
1 pkg. dry yeast
1/2 c. water, 110 degrees
1 c. low fat cottage cheese
2 tbsp. sugar
1 tbsp. instant minced onion
1 tbsp. dill seed
1 tbsp. vegetable oil
1/4 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
1 egg
1 c. flour
1 1/2 c. whole wheat flour

Soften yeast in water. Place cottage cheese in glass bowl and microwave on 30% for 2 minutes or until warm. Add yeast and remaining ingredients, except flours; beat well. Gradually add flours, beating to form a soft dough. Place 1 cup water in microwave and heat 1 1/2 minutes on full power. Cover bread bowl and place in oven alongside warm water. Let rise until double in size, about 1 hour. Stir down; turn into well greased 8" round bowl, cover and let rise as before until dough just reaches top of bowl. Uncover; place on inverted saucer in microwave; microwave on 50% for 8 minutes, then on full power for 3 to 6 minutes until done, rotating every 2 minutes.

To test for doneness, touch lightly in several places; will spring back if done. Let stand in bowl for 5 minutes, then loosen and turn onto rack or serving plate.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
