BOURBON PECAN PIE | |
2 (9-inch) pie shells, deep dish 2 oz. plain flour 2 oz. sugar 1 1/2 qt. light Karo syrup 1 pt. whole eggs 2 tsp. vanilla 1 tbsp. salt 3 oz. melted butter 1 c. pecans 1 (3 oz.) bourbon Mix flour, sugar and syrup together. Whip together eggs, vanilla, salt and bourbon. Combine above until smooth liquid. Place 4 oz. (1/2 cup) pecans in each pie shell and pour mixture over this. Bake at 325 degrees until top cracks slightly and pie crust is golden brown. |
