MEXICAN MEAT CASSEROLE | |
1 bell pepper, chopped 2 sm. cans green chilies 1 lb. grated cheddar cheese Garlic & salt to taste 1 lb. lean ground meat 1 onion, chopped 2 cans cream of mushroom soup 1 can of hot or mild enchilada sauce 1 pkg. tortilla chips Brown together: meat, onion, bell pepper and drain off excess juice. Add 2 cans of cream of mushroom soup, chilies, hot enchilada sauce, and garlic salt. Let simmer for 10 to 15 minutes. Place layers of tortillas on bottom of casserole dish. Add layer of meat then cheese, then tortillas alternating until mixture used up ending with layer of tortillas. Sprinkle grated cheese on top. Bake 30 minutes at 350 degrees. |
