FIRST LAYER: 1 stick melted butter 1 egg 1/4 c. sugar 3 tbsp. cocoa 1 tsp. vanilla 2 c. graham cracker crumbs 1 c. coconut 1/2 c. chopped nuts In large mixing bowl, combine melted butter, sugar and cocoa; mix well. Add egg and vanilla; mix well. Add graham cracker crumbs, coconut and nuts. Mix well and pack into dripper pan. Chill while preparing next layer. SECOND LAYER: 1/2 stick butter, softened 2 c. powdered sugar 1/2 tsp. vanilla Cream or milk Mix together butter, powdered sugar and vanilla. Gradually beat in enough cream or milk to spreading consistency. Spread evenly over crumb mixture and return to refrigerator. THIRD LAYER: 2 squares semi sweet chocolate 2 tbsp. butter Melt chocolate squares and butter. Drizzle over icing layer. Chill thoroughly and store in refrigerator. |
