MEXICAN CHOP SUEY | |
2 lbs. hamburger 1 lg. onion, chopped 1 can chopped tomatoes, undrained 1 can tomato sauce 3 tbsp. chili powder or chili blend 1/2 tsp. cayenne pepper 1 or 2 cans ranch style beans 1/2 tsp. garlic Brown hamburger and onion, then drain well. Add remaining ingredients. Simmer slowly for 1 hour, then cook 1 cup uncooked rice or more if desired for larger group. Add rice to cooked mixture. When ready to serve, pour in large casserole dish and top with grated cheddar cheese. Serve with green salad. For company or large groups. |
