2 lb. ribs (country style pork, beef or short ribs)
1 med. onion, chopped
1 bay leaf
Salt and freshly ground pepper
2 tbsp. corn oil
1 med. celery stalk, chopped
1/2 sm. green bell pepper, seeded and chopped
1 med. garlic clove, minced
1 c. catsup
1/4 c. red wine vinegar
2 tbsp. chili powder
1 tsp. Liquid Smoke
1/2 tsp. dried basil, crumbled
1/2 tsp. dried oregano, crumbled
1/2 tsp. cumin
