1 c. butter
1 1/2 c. sugar
1 c. chopped walnuts
1 c. mince meat
1 tsp. baking soda
1 1/2 tbsp. hot water
1/2 tsp. salt
3 eggs, well beaten
3 1/4 c. flour

Cream butter and sugar gradually. Add beaten eggs, then soda dissolved in hot water. Mix and sift salt and 1/2 of the flour, and add to batch. Stir well to blend. Add nuts, mince meat and remainder of the flour. Mix well. Drop by spoonfuls onto a greased baking sheet and bake at 350 degrees until done.
