CHOCOLATE SILK PIE 
1 c. butter
1 1/2 c. sugar
4 squares unsweetened chocolate, melted and cooled
2 tsp. vanilla
4 eggs
1 baked 9-inch pastry shell
1 pt. heavy whipping cream

In mixing bowl, cream butter, gradually add sugar and cream together until thoroughly mixed. Blend in melted chocolate. Add vanilla and add eggs, one at a time, beating 3 minutes for each egg.

Turn into cooked pastry shell and cover with plastic wrap. Chill several hours. When ready to serve, cover with whipped cream. Top with shaved chocolate curls (optional).
