STRAWBERRY FREEZER JAM 
1 qt. fresh strawberries, crushed to make 2 c.
4 c. sugar
3/4 c water
1 box "sure Jell"

Wash, stem, and crush strawberries in small amounts to equal 2 cups of fresh fruit. In a separate bowl measure 4 level cups of sugar. Stir sugar into fruit and set aside for about 10 minutes.

Mix 3/4 cup of water and 1 box of "Sure-Jell" in a saucepan. Bring mixture to a full rolling boil over high heat, stirring constantly. Continue boiling for 1 minute. Stir "Sure-Jell" mixture into fruit and stir for three minutes.

Fill freezer containers immediately to within 1/2 inch of top. Cover with lid and let stand at room temperature for 24 hours. Store in freezer until opened. After opening store in refrigerator for up to 3 weeks. Makes 4 3/4 cups jelly.
