1 c. white sugar
1 c. powdered sugar
2 eggs
1 c. cooking oil
1 c. butter
1 tsp. cream of tartar
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking soda
4 1/2 c. flour

Mix all ingredients together. Roll into small balls. Roll in white sugar. Flatten with fork. Bake at 350 degrees for 8 to 10 minutes.

Note: Roll in colored sugar for Christmas.
