PECAN FUDGE 
6 c. sugar
1 stick butter
1 tbsp. cocoa
1 lg. can evaporated milk
1 1/2 c. chopped pecans
Dash of salt
2 tsp. vanilla extract

Mix sugar and cocoa; add evaporated milk and butter. Cool over high heat until it forms soft ball when dropped in cold water. Add dash of salt and pecans. Remove pot from fire; add vanilla and heat until it starts to thicken. Pour into 2 buttered platters. Cut when cool.
