BEEF CHESTNUT SUPREME 
2 lbs. ground beef
1 c. regular rice, uncooked
1 can mushroom soup
2 cans cream of chicken soup
2 cans water chestnuts
1/4 c. soy sauce
1 c. celery, diced
1/2 c. green pepper, diced
1 sm. jar pimento
1 tsp. salt
1 onion, chopped
2 c. boiling water
2 tbsp. brown sugar

Brown ground beef, onion, and green pepper. Add all other ingredients. Put into a 2-quart casserole (greased). Bake uncovered 1 to 1 1/2 hours at 350 degrees.

HINT: You can also add mushrooms or slivered almonds to the top, if desired.
