MOCK CHOP SUEY | |
1 1/4 lbs. ground beef 2 tbsp. butter 1 c. chopped celery 1 med. onion, chopped fine 1 can cream of chicken soup 1 can cream of mushroom soup 1 1/2 c. water 2 tbsp. soy sauce 1/2 c. uncooked rice 1 can mushrooms (4 oz.) 1 tsp. salt (I use 1/2 or less) 1 can chow mein noodles (3 1/4 oz.) Saute meat in butter 5 minutes stirring frequently and mix with remaining ingredients except noodles. Bake in a covered casserole at 350 degrees for 1 hour. Top with noodles for last 11 minutes of cooking time uncovered. |
