PORK CHOPS IN WHITE WINE
4 lg. pork chops, 1 inch thick
2 lg. onions
Flour
Salt
Pepper
1 c. white wine
2 tsp. soy sauce
butter

Saute onions in butter until brown. Use a frying pan which is oven-proof. Add pork chops and brown well on both sides. Sprinkle with flour, salt and pepper. Over this, pour the wine, which has been mixed with soy sauce. Cover and bake in the oven at 350 degrees for about 1 1/2 hours. NOTE: Mushrooms can be added at end of cooking time. Wine mixture can be doubled or tripled for extra sauce for the rice.
