CHOCOLATE MERINGUE PIE 
1 c. sugar
4 tbsp. flour
2 tbsp. cocoa
3 or 4 egg yolks, set whites aside
1 1/2 c. milk, Pet milk is best
1 tbsp. butter (optional)
1 tbsp. vanilla
1 prepared crust

Bake pie crust and set aside. Use a heavy saucepan. Mix cocoa and sugar and flour to get out lumps. Separate eggs. Blend yolks and milk and vanilla. Pour into dry mixture. Stir well. Cook on medium heat until mixture is thick, stirring. Remove from heat.

Beat until smooth with electric mixer. Pour into shell. Beat egg whites until medium stiffness. Add about 6 or 8 tablespoons sugar and 1 teaspoon vanilla. Beat until stiff. Top pie. Cook in oven about 400 degrees until brown.
