SQUASH CASSEROLE 
2 lb. diced squash
1 lg. onion
1/2 stick butter
1 tbsp. bacon drippings
1 can undiluted mushroom soup
10 cheese crackers (grated cheese - crackers)
Salt & pepper to taste

Place butter, bacon drippings, onion and squash in heavy skillet. Add very small amount of water. Cover and simmer; cook until tender and dry. Then add soup. Place in casserole dish. Sprinkle in cheese-crackers. Bake in 400 degree oven for 20 minutes.
