EAST INDIAN CHICKEN 
Calories per serving: 340. Fat: 1 2/5. Spices make it hot!

1/2 c. chopped onions
1/2 c. chopped green pepper
1/4 tsp. garlic powder
1 tsp. vegetable oil
2 c. skinned and cooked diced chicken
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
1 1/2 tsp. curry powder
1 (28 oz.) can whole tomatoes
1 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
2 tbsp. chopped parsley
1/4 c. raisins
2 c. cooked brown rice

Cook the onion, pepper and garlic powder in the oil until the onion is tender - about 3 minutes. Add the remaining ingredients - except the rice and cook over low heat for about 30 minutes. Serve over rice.

This is now my second favorite dish ever! It is easy to make, healthy and so yummy! The curry lends it the most mild yet divine flavor and odors. I could not find my garlic so I skipped it and used basil instead of parsley. This is now going to be a regular meal for our family.
