EAST INDIAN CHICKEN | |
Calories per serving: 340. Fat: 1 2/5. Spices make it hot! 1/2 c. chopped onions 1/2 c. chopped green pepper 1/4 tsp. garlic powder 1 tsp. vegetable oil 2 c. skinned and cooked diced chicken 1/2 tsp. salt 1/2 tsp. pepper 1 1/2 tsp. curry powder 1 (28 oz.) can whole tomatoes 1 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce 2 tbsp. chopped parsley 1/4 c. raisins 2 c. cooked brown rice Cook the onion, pepper and garlic powder in the oil until the onion is tender - about 3 minutes. Add the remaining ingredients - except the rice and cook over low heat for about 30 minutes. Serve over rice. |
