ENGLISH MUFFIN BREAD 
5 1/2-6 c. flour
2 pkgs. dry yeast
1 tbsp. sugar
2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. baking soda
2 c. milk
1/2 c. water
Cornmeal

Combine 3 cups flour, yeast, sugar, salt and baking soda. Heat liquids to 115 degrees (very warm). Add to dry ingredients and beat well. Stir in remaining flour to make stiff batter. Spoon into 2 greased loaf pans sprinkled with cornmeal. Cover; let rise in warm place for 45 minutes. Bake at 400 degrees for 25 minutes. Remove from pans immediately and cool.
