ENGLISH MUFFIN BREAD 
5 3/4 c. flour
2 pkgs. yeast
1 tsp. sugar
2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. baking soda
2 c. milk
1/2 c. water

Measure flour by spooning into cup - 3 cups yeast, sugar, salt, baking soda. Heat milk and water to 120 degrees (just before boiling). Add to dry. Beat well. Stir in enough flour to make a stiff batter. Spoon into greased pan. Cover, let rise 45 minutes. Bake at 400 degrees for 25 minutes.
