OLD FASHIONED RICE PUDDING 
1 1/2 c. rice
3 c. boiling water
6 c. milk
1 1/2 c. sugar
2 tsp. vanilla
2 tbsp. butter

Wash rice. Boil in water 3 minutes. Drain off water. Add milk and cook slowly over low heat until thick. Do not stir too often. When thick, take off stove. Add sugar, vanilla, and butter. Mix well; pour into large bowl. Sprinkle with cinnamon.
