POT PIE SOUP 
1 egg, beaten
1 tbsp. vegetable oil
1 tbsp. milk
1 c. flour
1/4 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt

Mix beaten egg, 1 tablespoon oil and 1 tablespoon milk; mix well together. Stir in the cup of flour, the 1/2 teaspoon baking powder and 1/2 teaspoon salt. Roll out and cut in little squares and drop in the boiling broth. When nearly done, add the chicken, cut in pieces.

Boil a chicken until tender; remove from the broth, to add later. To the broth add a chopped onion, 2 stalks of chopped celery and a grated carrot and large potato. Cook together before adding dumplings.
