MAMA'S PATIENCE CAKE 
1 box yellow cake mix

Follow directions on cake mix.

FROSTING:

2 (8 oz.) Cool Whip
2 sm. cartons sour cream
1 box confectioners' sugar
1 sm. can pineapple, crushed, drained
1 sm. jar cherries, sliced & drained
1 can coconut
1 c. chopped nuts

Mix all ingredients in a large bowl. Frost between layers, then top and sides. Cover and refrigerate. Leave alone for 3 days. Just have patience.
