FABULOUS CHUNKY CHILI 
4 tbsp. oil
2 lg. onions, chopped
4 lg. garlic cloves, minced
4 lb. stew beef, cut sm. cubes
3 lb. bulk pork sausage
2 (1 lb. 12 oz.) can whole tomatoes
2 cans tomato paste
6 tbsp. chili powder
3 tsp. cumin
1 tbsp. oregano
2 (1 lb.) cans baked beans
2 tsp. salt
2 tsp. sugar
2 tbsp. unsweetened cocoa powder
2 (15 oz.) cans kidney beans, drained
1 (15 oz.) can pinto beans, drained

In large heavy saucepan; heat oil, saute onion and garlic. Add beef and sausage. Cook until brown. Pour off fat. Add liquid from tomatoes. Chop tomatoes. Add to meat with tomato paste, baked beans and spices. Simmer 2 hours, stirring often. If too dry, add water. Stir in other beans. Cook 30 minutes or until meat is very tender. Remove excess fat. Makes 16 servings. Great for Christmas Eve, serve with cornbread casserole.

A friend of mine made this and it was delicious! We added cheese, onion, and taco chips for a garnish. She said she used ground beef instead of stew meat and reduced the meat a little but kept all the beans in recipe. She said she freezes it and it does well.
