PIE DOUGH | |
2 c. plain flour 1/2 tsp. salt 2/3 c. Crisco Mix with cutter until it is like coarse meal. Using a fork to stir. Add 8 or 9 tablespoons ice water, 1 at a time. Divide in half and roll out to size of pie pan on wax paper. Turn over into pie pan. Press sides, make thumbprint on top. Trim edges and prick with fork. You can freeze until ready to use. Makes 2 pie crusts. |
