POPPY SEED CAKE 
2 c. sugar
1 1/2 c. Wesson oil
4 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
3 c. sifted flour
1 1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 (13 oz.) can milk
1 can Bakers or Solo poppy seed filling
1 c. chopped nuts

Place sugar, oil, eggs, and vanilla in large mixing bowl and beat well. Sift together flour, soda, and salt. Add to first mixture alternately with milk and poppy seed, then add nuts. Bake in ungreased 10 inch tube pan at 350 degrees for 1 hour and 10 minutes.
