FRUIT COCKTAIL DESSERT 
1 c. flour
1 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1 (16 oz.) can fruit cocktail
1 tsp. baking soda
1 egg
1 tsp. vanilla

Drain most of juice, reserve for use later if needed. Mix the above ingredients together. If the dough seems dry, add a little of the juice. Put in 9"x9" pan. Sprinkle 1 cup or less brown sugar on top. Bake in 350 degree oven about 50 minutes. Serve warm or cold with whipped cream or ice cream.
