6 c. mashed peaches
3 qts. warm water
1 lb. raisins
3 lbs. brown sugar
2 c. mashed cornmeal
1 compressed yeast cake

Put ingredients together in a crock and stir well each day for ten days. Strain thoroughly and pour into bottles. Place corks loosely.
