MARINATED GUAMIAN CHICKEN 
1 package chicken pieces (any size)
1/4 cup soy sauce
1/2 lime
1/2 cup sugar
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 of ginger root
1 teaspoon black pepper

Mix the soy sauce, lime, sugar, salt and black pepper; then smash/mash the ginger root using either a meat grinder, mortar and pestle, food processor or chopper; stir all together. In a Ziploc bag, add mixture to chicken pieces and seal, then mix around to coat chicken well. Leave the chicken in the refrigerator to marinate for 3 hours.

The chicken may then be grilled, broiled or roasted in the oven as you normally would (or use your favorite recipe for cooking).
