MAPLE - NUT RING | |
1/3 c. finely chopped walnuts 2 tbsp. brown sugar, packed 2 tbsp. water 1 tsp. cinnamon 1/4 c. maple syrup 1 roll (10 oz.) biscuits Invert 6 ounce custard cup in center of lightly greased 8 inch round dish. In small bowl, mix together walnuts, brown sugar, sugar and cinnamon. Place maple syrup in small bowl. Coat each biscuit with syrup, then sugar-nut mixture. Arrange in circle in prepared dish, overlapping edges. Microwave at medium 8 to 10 minutes, rotating dish 1/2 turn after 4 minutes. Let cool 5 minutes. Remove custard cup and invert onto serving plate. Sprinkle with any remaining sugar-nut mixture. Serve. |
