ALMOND BARS 
1 c. butter
1/2 c. powdered sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. almond extract
2 c. flour
8 oz. softened cream cheese
1/2 c. sugar

FROSTING:

1 1/2 c. powdered sugar
1 1/2 tbsp. milk
1 pkg. sliced almonds
1/4 c. butter
1 tsp. almond extract

Mix together 1 cup butter, flour, 1/2 cup powdered sugar. Pat in 9 x 13 inch baking pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 to 25 minutes. Beat together cream cheese, eggs, sugar, 1 teaspoon almond extract. Pour over crust while hot and bake at 350 degrees for 15 to 20 minutes. Cool.

FROSTING: Whisk together 1 1/2 cups powdered sugar, 1/4 cup butter, milk and 1 teaspoon almond extract. Top with sliced almonds.
