1 c. butter
2 eggs
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. brown sugar
3 c. flour
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. baking soda

Cream the first 5 ingredients together. Add flour, vanilla, and soda in a little at a time. Drop by rounded teaspoon on a cookie sheet. Mash with a fork dipped in flour. Bake at 350 degrees until lightly brown. Icing is optional.

ICING:

Cream together some powdered sugar and butter and vanilla.
