COUNTRY-FRIED CHICKEN | |
1 cut up fryer (2 1/2 - 3 lbs.) 1/2 c. milk 1 egg 1 c. flour 2 tsp. garlic powder 2 tsp. seasoned salt (Lawry's) 1 tsp. paprika 1 tsp. pepper Blend milk and egg together. Combine flour and seasonings in a plastic or paper bag. Shake chicken pieces in seasoned flour. When all pieces have been coated with the flour mixture, dip in egg and milk and shake chicken pieces in flour mixture a second time. Brown and fry in deep grease for 40-50 minutes or until chicken is done. |
