MICROWAVE HAWAIIAN SWEET SOUR HAM | |
2 c. cooked and cubed ham 1 1/2 tbsp. cornstarch 2 tsp. prepared mustard 3/4 c. water 2 c. hot cooked rice 2 tbsp. brown sugar 1 can pineapple chunks 3 to 4 tsp. vinegar 1/2 tsp. salt Place ham in 1 1/2 quart casserole. Combine sugar and cornstarch in 1 quart measure. Drain juice from pineapple chunks into sugar mixture. Stir in mustard, vinegar, and water. Pour over the ham. Microwave 4 to 6 minutes on high or until sauce is thickened. Stir in pineapple. Microwave 1 minute on high. Stir in salt. Serve over cooked rice. A very good way to use your leftover ham. |
