SMOKED SAUSAGE JAMBALAYA | |
1 lb. smoked sausage (cut into 1/2" slices) 1 lb. ground beef 2 yellow onions, chopped 6 cloves garlic, minced 28 oz. can tomatoes 1 1/2 tsp. salt 1 tsp. pepper 1/2 c. uncooked rice 2 1/2 c. water Cook sausage in 5 quart Dutch oven until browned; remove from pan and discard drippings. Combine ground beef, onions and garlic; cook until beef is browned. Add tomatoes, salt, pepper and sausage. Cover and simmer 20 minutes. Add rice and water. Cover and cook 40 minutes. Yield: 6 servings. |
