BLUEBERRY BREAKFAST BAKE
2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. baking soda
3/4 c. sugar
2 eggs
1 lb. pork sausage, cooked & drained
1 c. blueberries
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 c. butter
1/4 c. brown sugar
1 (8 oz.) sour cream (I use lite)
1/2 c. nuts

Sift flour, baking powder, baking soda; set aside. Beat butter until fluffy. Add sugars; add eggs, one at a time, beating 1 minute after each. Add flour and sour cream (alternately), beating after each, just until creamed. Fold in sausage and berries. Pour into 9x13 inch ungreased pan. Spread evenly. Sprinkle with nuts. At this point you can leave overnight. Bake at 350 degrees for 35-40 minutes until toothpick comes out clean. Serve with warm Blueberry Sauce.

BLUEBERRY SAUCE:

Combine 1/2 cup sugar and 2 tablespoons cornstarch. Add 1/2 cup water and 2 cups blueberries. Cook and stir over medium heat until thick. Cook and stir 2 minutes and 1/2 teaspoon lemon juice. I double this sauce. Enjoy!
