RAISIN DROP COOKIES 
3 tbsp. butter
1/2 c. brown sugar
1 egg
1/2 c. raisins
3 tbsp. milk
1 c. flour
1/4 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon

Cream the butter and sugar together. Gradually add the well beaten egg. Stir in the raisins and milk alternately with the dry ingredients which had been sifted together. Drop by teaspoons a little distance apart on a greased baking sheet. Bake about 12 minutes at 350 degrees. These were my father's favorite cookies.
