RAISIN FILLED DROP COOKIES 
1 c. soft shortening
2 c. brown sugar
3 eggs
1/2 c. water
1 tsp. vanilla
1/8 tsp. cinnamon
3 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda

Mix as usual. Drop from teaspoon on greased cookie sheet. Drop on filling and drop another teaspoon of batter on top. Bake at 400 degrees for about 10 minutes.

FILLING:

1 c. raisins, ground or whole
1/2 c. orange juice
1 c. sugar
1 c. water
3 tbsp. cornstarch

Cook until thick. This filling is also good for a raisin pie filling.
