Bill's Barbecue Sauce

I lived in the Richmond Va area most of my life and ate Bill's Barbecue fairly regularly. I loved their Barbecue and used their sauce every time. Well this recipe is not even close in taste. Even the color is completely different. Bill's sauce was more orange than deep red, which deep red is was you get with ketchup as a base. Don't waste your time and ingredients using this recipe. You would be better off starting with a Buffalo Wing sauce as a base and developing a barbecue sauce from that. Good Luck.

Amen! The Bill's barbecue recipe didn't contain Any ketchup as far as I know, I cannot stand ketchup and I was raised on Bill's barbecue!
