BEEF STROGANOFF 
2 lb. sirloin or top round steak
1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
1/2 c. chopped onion
1 clove garlic
1/3 c. cooking oil
2 c. water
2 beef bouillon cubes
1 can mushrooms
1 can cream of mushroom soup
3 tsp. tomato paste or catsup
1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce

Chop meat into cubes or slivers. Mix flour, salt, pepper into meat. Brown the meat in the oil, along with onion and garlic. Add water, beef bouillon cubes, mushrooms and soup. Simmer until meat is tender.

Just before serving, cool mixture slightly and add tomato paste or catsup and Worcestershire sauce. Serves 6 to 8. Serve over rice or noodles.
