LU'S CHEESE CAKE 
VANILLA WAFER CRUST:

2/3 c. butter
1 (12 oz.) box vanilla wafers, crushed

Melt butter in saucepan. Add crushed vanilla wafers. Combine and press into greased 3-quart casserole dish. Bake 10 minutes at 350 degrees.

CENTER:

24 oz. cream cheese, at room temperature
4 eggs, at room temperature
1 tsp. vanilla

Blend cream cheese and eggs together. Whip 25 minutes with electric mixer. Stir in vanilla. Pour into 3-quart casserole dish. Bake 30 minutes at 350 degrees. Let cool 15 minutes.

TOPPING:

1 pt. sour cream
1 tbsp. sugar
1 tbsp. vanilla

Beat together above ingredients. Pour gently over cooled cheesecake. Bake 5 minutes at 350 degrees. Let sit at room temperature before refrigerating.
