CHOCOLATE FILLED SNOWBALLS 
1 c. soft butter
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. finely chopped pecans
1/2 c. sugar
2 c. sifted flour
1 pkg. chocolate kisses
Confectioners' sugar

Beat butter, sugar and vanilla until light and fluffy. Add sifted flour and nuts, blend well. Chill dough. Remove foil from kisses. Shape dough around kisses, using about 1 tablespoon dough for each. Roll in hands to make a ball. Be sure to cover kiss completely. Bake on ungreased cookie sheet at 375 degrees for 12 minutes, or until set, but not brown. Sprinkle with confectioners' sugar. Makes about 40 cookies.
